Job Details and Description:
British Broadcasting Corporation; BBC's foreign service,
the BBC World Service, is the world's best known and most
listened to and viewed international radio and television
broadcaster.
There are placements available in just about every area of
the BBC across the UK. And they’re not just for school children
either. So whatever your age and whichever area you’re interested
in, chances are we’ll have something that’s right for you.
All placements are unpaid and can last anything from a few
days to four weeks. Competition is fierce, so before you apply
you’ll need to consider what you can offer and what you’d
like to achieve.
No specific qualifications are required, but the following
are the kind of questions you should be asking yourself. Are
you good with computers? Have you worked in hospital radio
or written articles for your local or college magazine? What
do you hope to gain from the placement? What are your ambitions
for the future?
