Customer Service Staff/Safety Stewards
Hourly Rate: £7.00 per hour (£7.53 inc. holiday
entitlement) rising to £7.50 per hour (£8.07 inc.
holiday entitlement) after qualifying period
The Company:
City and Suburban Parking Ltd is a car parking/traffic management
company who operate primarily within the event/leisure industry
with key contracts such as the Wembley Complex, Alexandra
Palace, Twickenham Rugby Stadium and numerous key racecourses
such as Epsom Downs, Kempton Park, Sandown Park, Goodwood,
Newmarket, Newbury and Windsor amongst our portfolio.
The Company has recently been accredited as an Investor in
People and is working towards ISO9000:2001 recognition.
The Client:
Kempton Park Racecourse will become Europe’s leading all
weather racecourse and will offer a total of 49 new all weather
fixtures and five jumps meetings in 2006, which will kick
off with their opening meeting on Saturday, 25th March 2006.
In 2007, Kempton Park will have over 120 fixtures.
The Role:
The role will be a multi-functional profile and will cover
areas such as car parking, welcome staff, meet and greet,
ticket sellers, race-card sellers and safety stewards. All
successful candidates will be required to attend an induction
day prior to the 25th March fixture and full training will
be given in order to be able to fulfil the role of a safety
steward. Progression will be available internally to Supervisor
positions. Minimum 6 hour shifts will be provided and there
will be a variety of dates available with variation between
day, afternoon and evening fixtures.
The Candidate:
Articulate and able to communicate all levels both in written
and verbal formats, clean and presentable, calm and collected,
of a pleasant and welcoming disposition. Minimum age of 17
years.
