We are seeking a Teacher of Engineering to join its growing department. We have opportunities across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Computer Engineering.
You’ll deliver engaging lessons across BTEC, T Level and/or A Level programmes, combining academic learning with real-world application in a highly industry-focused environment. This role is ideal for educators passionate about preparing students for careers in engineering through practical, hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging engineering lessons
* Support student progress, attainment, and outcomes
* Contribute to curriculum development and project-based learning
* Use assessment data to inform teaching and support learners
* Create an inclusive, safe, and motivating classroom environment
* Participate in wider college activities, employer engagement, and enrichment
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering (or related field)
* Teaching qualification (PGCE or working towards)
* Experience teaching 16–18 learners (BTEC/T Level desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for technical education
* Ability to inspire and support students of all abilities
