Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Lancaster – Primary School – Part-Time | Immediate Start
Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class within a welcoming primary school in Lancaster.
This is a long-term opportunity covering a period of staff sickness absence and is expected to continue for at least half a term, with the potential to be extended.
The Role
General classroom support within a Year 3 class
Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities
Supporting pupils both individually and in small groups
Helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
Providing general classroom and pastoral support as required
Working Pattern
The position will be working:
Monday and Tuesday – Full Days (expected)
Thursday and Friday – Mornings
Days are currently subject to confirmation

This friendly and supportive primary school is based in Lancaster and is easily accessible via local bus routes, making it an excellent option for both drivers and non-drivers.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable
Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential
Positive, reliable and proactive approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
