Pioneer People are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN setting in Bromsgrove on a long-term basis.

The setting supports pupils from EYFS through to Post-16, with flexibility around the age group you work with depending on your experience, strengths and preferences.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and committed Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing 1:1 and small-group support

* Supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs

* Encouraging engagement, independence and positive learning behaviours

* Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour where required

* Following individual support plans and working closely with teaching and pastoral staff

* Maintaining a safe, structured and supportive learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN

* Experience within a specialist SEN setting or school environment is desirable

* A calm, patient and adaptable approach

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* A relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification is desirable

* Experience supporting autism, SEMH, ADHD, SLD or complex needs would be beneficial
