SEND Tutor – Liverpool
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Start Date: September 2026
Duration: Ongoing
Prospero Teaching are looking for a supportive and adaptable SEND Tutor to provide individualised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Liverpool.
This role would suit an experienced educator who is confident responding to individual learning needs and can create structured, engaging sessions that encourage a positive attitude towards education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition
Plan sessions around the learner's individual needs
Adapt teaching strategies and resources
Support academic and personal development
Build confidence and encourage engagement
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people
Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
