We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a successful and inclusive secondary school within a leading multi-academy trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced staff, supporting students both in and out of the classroom to help them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role – Secondary Teaching Assistant

* Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.

* Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment and confidence.

* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

* Provide tailored support for students with additional needs.

* Encourage positive behaviour and promote a supportive learning environment.

* Help students develop independence, resilience and self-belief.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience working with young people in a school, educational or mentoring setting.

* A positive, patient and proactive approach.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.

* Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable but not essential.
