Hours: Monday – Friday, Part-Time or Full-Time, 3–5 Days Per Week
Shift: 8:00am – 6:30pm
Location: Slough

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Slough.
You will support children with their learning, development and daily routines, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS.
Key Responsibilities

Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities

Assist with EYFS activities and daily routines
*
Support children’s communication and social development
*
Help with meals, personal care and transitions
*
Observe and record children’s progress
*
Promote positive behaviour and independence
*
Maintain a safe and stimulating environment
*
Work closely with the nursery team and families
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent
*
Previous nursery or Early Years experience
*
Good understanding of the EYFS
*
Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
*
Right to Work in the UK
Desirable:
*
Experience working with children aged 0–5
*
Paediatric First Aid
*
Experience supporting children with additional needs
