Practice Manager – Knightsbridge, London
Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per annum
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Manager to join a well-established healthcare practice in Knightsbridge, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager who is confident overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy practice, managing staff and ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
* Manage, support and motivate the practice administration and reception teams
* Manage staff rotas, annual leave, recruitment and performance
* Support staff training, development and appraisals
* Ensure practice policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
* Monitor compliance, health & safety and risk management
* Assist with financial and budget management
* Manage patient concerns and complaints appropriately
* Work closely with GPs, clinicians and the wider practice team
* Support clinical governance and quality improvement
* Ensure confidentiality, GDPR and data protection requirements are maintained
* Identify opportunities to improve practice processes and patient services
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous Practice Manager experience within a GP/primary care setting
* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience managing a multidisciplinary practice team
* Good understanding of healthcare compliance and governance
* Experience with HR, recruitment and staff development
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* A professional, proactive and patient-focused approach
* The ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment
Experience with SystmOne, EMIS or other GP clinical systems is essential.
