9.30 am – 5.30 pm weekends only
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Chef/Cook to join our team in our care home at Two Trees Plymouth. You will share responsibility for the overall running of the kitchen at weekends
* Independently plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for residents
* Share overall responsibility for the smooth running and organisation of the kitchen
* Ensure continuity and consistency in meal quality, standards, and routines between shifts
* Cater for residents’ dietary, nutritional, and cultural needs
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment at all times
* Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and infection control procedures
* Monitor stock, manage supplies, and minimise food waste
* Complete all required kitchen documentation (temperature checks, cleaning schedules, etc.)
* Undertake additional cleaning and kitchen support duties as required
