£16.92 per hour (PAYE) | East London | Student Accommodation
We’re looking for a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a busy student accommodation site in East London. This temporary assignment is focused on building safety, compliance and day-to-day facilities maintenance.

Hours: 9am-5pm
Pay: £16.92 per hour (PAYE)
Role Overview
You’ll carry out a blend of reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the building remains safe, compliant and ready for residents.
Duties include:
General maintenance repairs – routine fault finding and minor repairs
PPM duties – fire alarm tests, lift inspections, plant room checks, emergency lighting inspections, critical equipment checks and external property inspections
Health & Safety compliance – ensuring safe working practices and accurate record-keepingWhat You’ll Need
Proven building maintenance experience
City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
Strong Health & Safety awareness
Experience with PPM routines
Ability to work independently
Clear communication and customer focusThis is a short-term assignment starting on Monday for 3 days and would suit someone available immediately
