We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Accounts Assistant to join our expanding accounts team. This role will suit those with an interest in working in a finance environment, recent school and college leavers or anyone looking for a change of employment.

The role involves carrying out both accounts and administrative support in the accounts department. If you’re well organised, can play close attention to detail and like being part of a team, this role could suit you perfectly.

Principal responsibilities:

Processing monthly:

* Purchase invoices

* Credit card transactions

* Bank statement transactions

* Petty cash transactions

* Import Sales invoices

* Maintaining the sales ledger

* Maintaining the purchase ledger

* Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations

* Manage Bookkeeping for clients using account different accounting software.

* Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation

* Prepare VAT return for clients under various accounting software

* Process the weekly and monthly payroll for clients

* Submit FPS and EPS to HMRC

* Prepare financial reports like profit and loss, trial balance and Balance Sheet

* Prepare Unadjusted Trial Balance

* Make necessary adjustments like prepayment, accruals, wages adjustment, loan adjustments

* Prepare and submit Final account and calculate the corporation tax CT600

* Prepare and submit records to help management making decisions

Successful Applicant will have

* Knowledge of accountancy software (training will be provided)

* Can do attitude.

* Have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant field

* Have previous experience (training will be provided)

* Team Player and quick learner

* Good Knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, Sum if and VLOOKUP’s

* Excellent attention to details
