Office & Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Up to £14.50 per hour | 9:00am – 4:00pm | 3 Days per Week

We’re looking for an Office & Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a varied part-time role within an established group of engineering businesses, where you’ll provide day-to-day office support while assisting with general accounts administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administration, customer service and accounts duties in a busy but supportive office environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Processing purchase invoices.

* Raising sales invoices and credit notes.

* Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations.

* Supporting credit control by following up outstanding customer payments.

* Providing general accounts administration.

* Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries.

* Welcoming visitors and providing reception cover.

* Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.

* Ordering office supplies and helping with the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

* Providing administrative support to colleagues across the business.

* Undertaking a variety of general office duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

* Previous office administration and/or accounts experience.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* The ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.

* Experience using Sage 50 Accounts.

* Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Hours

* Three days per week.

* 9:00am – 4:00pm.

* 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

* Working days to be agreed.
