Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced English Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wigan.
This opportunity would suit a supportive educator who can make lessons engaging and accessible while helping a learner overcome barriers, develop core literacy skills and make progress towards their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised English tuition
Plan sessions based on individual learning needs
Support literacy and wider academic development
Adapt resources and activities where required
Build a positive relationship with the learner
Encourage confidence and engagement
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Requirements
Previous experience teaching or tutoring English
Strong English subject knowledge
Experience supporting children or young people
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable and learner-focused approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
