In this flexible, social and active role, you will become part of the team at the Old Smithy Inn – a friendly, family-run tourist pub with BnB rooms and the best beer garden in Devon – we have new high quality staff accomodation and are home to the annual Smithy Fest music festival.
Working Hours
Shift work, from £10ph, depending on role and experience.
Role responsibilities
Daily tasks may include:

Producing food to our menu’s standard (training will be provided)

Food preparation

Restocking and clearing work stations

Regular communication with front of house and other kitchen staff
Requirements
NVQ desirable, but not required. However, you must have:

Previous kitchen experience

The ability to remain calm during high-volume periods

Excellent teamwork skills
-
Good initiative when working
-
Permission to work in the UK
-
Fluent English
As an active role, you must be comfortable with walking and standing during the majority of your shift.
