This flexible and active role will put you right in the heart of upcoming events at the Kia Oval and the exhilarating buzz of match-day, whilst allowing you to work around your schedule.
Working Hours & Wage
Part-Time Shift Work. From £10.85 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Role
– Provide information and assistance to guests
– To deliver the brand and feel of the event staged
– Conduct ticket checks on those entering your zone of responsibility
– To assist with venue evacuation & direct guests to holding areas
– Remain in designated position until replacement arrives
Requirements
You must be trained to an approved national standard for stewarding/ supervising such as:
– Level 2 qualification – for learners in the job role of a steward.
– Level 3 qualification – for supervisors
You must also have:
– The ability to remain calm during high-volume periods
– Confidence when interacting with people
– Be welcoming and articulate
– A good knowledge of the internal areas of the ground and particular stand they are assigned to (will be provided in advance)
– A good knowledge of amenities and further information points within the ground (will be provided in advance)
– A good knowledge of the Venue Evacuation Procedures and Safety Requirements (will be provided in advance)
– As an active role, you must be comfortable with walking and standing during the majority of your shift.
