Overview
Education Personnel are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teachers in Derby to work with our partner secondary schools across Derby and the surrounding areas.
We welcome applications from experienced Mathematics Teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and qualified secondary teachers with experience delivering the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to pupils in Years 7–11.

Teach the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum, including GCSE Maths.
*
Support students across a range of abilities, including foundation and higher-tier learners.
*
Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to improve attainment.
*
Maintain effective classroom management and positive learning environments.
*
Contribute to departmental planning and school improvement where required.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
Has experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
*
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
*
Is confident supporting GCSE Mathematics pupils.
*
Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
*
Is passionate about improving pupils' confidence and achievement in Maths.
