Shifts: Nights
Monday to Sunday
Start times 22:00 – 4:00
Finish times 7:00 – 9:00
Pay rate: £12.71 – £15.00
Job description:
TSR Ipswich Ltd are looking for Parcel sorters to work for highly established and reputable clients across the Ipswich area!
This is a hands-on warehouse role suited to reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and being on their feet for most of the working day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual handling and heavy lifting (occasionally)
* Working as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Sorting parcels and packages
* Moving parcels to the correct sorting areas ready for dispatch
* Wrapping and labelling
* Using manual pump trucks and doing pallet work
* Using certain machinery and equipment, which the job requires
* Following all health and safety procedures and manual handling guidelines
About You:
The ideal individual will be a person, who possesses the following:
* Pride in what they do and an interest in their work, willing to expand their knowledge in the field they are working in.
* Careful with goods and an eye for attention to detail
* Punctual and arrives to work on time.
* A strong work ethic and always willing to give work 100% of their ability
* Previous warehouse and parcel sorting experience
* Can follow instructions and perform them effectively and efficiently
* Can work to deadlines
