Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Corby. Pay & Benefits
* Standard Rate: £12.71 per hour (Enhanced overtime rates payable after 12 weeks)
* Overtime Rate: £19.06 per hour (after 40 hours worked)
* Sunday Rate: £25.42 per hour
Working Hours
* Shift Pattern: Monday and Tuesday
* Start Time: 06:00 – 16:00 or 07:00 – 19:00
Key Responsibilities
* Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
* Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
* Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
* Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
* Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
* Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
* Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
* Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
* Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience in a similar role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
