Job Title: Regulatory Specialist
Location: UK Remote / Hybrid (Head Office: Ashington, Northumberland)
Contract Type: Permanent / Part Time (24-30 hours per week)
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 pro rata, depending on experience
We're working with a leading manufacturer seeking a Regulatory Specialist to strengthen their compliance and quality function.

The Regulatory Specialist Role
As the Regulatory Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring products remain compliant across relevant regulatory frameworks. The business is open to candidates with experience gained in a variety of highly regulated industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, agrochemicals and similar sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and maintaining regulatory submissions and technical documentation.
* Building IUCLID dossiers, preparing SPCs and coordinating submissions via R4BP where applicable.
* Managing Poison Centre Notifications and supporting compliance with CLP and other applicable regulations.
* Supporting cross-functional teams with regulatory input for SDS creation, labelling updates and change controls.
* Monitoring regulatory developments and communicating potential impacts to the business.
* Liaising with suppliers, laboratories, consultants and regulatory authorities to facilitate regulatory progress.
* Supporting the maintenance of product registrations and regulatory approvals across relevant markets.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience within a regulatory affairs, regulatory compliance or product stewardship role.
* Experience working within a highly regulated industry such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, agrochemicals or similar.
* Knowledge of regulatory submissions, compliance activities and technical documentation.
* Experience with chemical regulations, product compliance frameworks or equivalent industry regulations.
* Experience with EU/GB BPR, IUCLID and R4BP would be advantageous, but is not essential.
* Strong scientific communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
* A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
