A new branch of the McDonald’s restaurant chain is set to create over 100 full and part time jobs in the Wirral area of Merseyside.

Due to open its doors next week (4th November 2020), the new Prenton branch of McDonald’s will create around 105 vacancies for local job seekers in the Wirral, according to bosses at the famous burger chain.

The new restaurant, located close to Junction 3 of the M53, will follow strict Coronavirus social distancing rules for visiting diners and will also start to offer a delivery service in the next few weeks.

Commenting on the latest fast food addition to the Wirral, Paul Griffiths, the franchisee of three existing branches of McDonald’s in the area, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our operation in Prenton and we’re so looking forward to seeing our new and existing local customers at the restaurant.”

“We’d like to thank our customers in advance for their support and patience as we navigate and adapt to these different ways of working,” added Mr Griffiths.

Full and part time roles on offer at the new Prenton McDonald’s include vacancies for ‘Crew Members’.

Explaining who would be suitable to apply for a part time vacancy as a Crew Member, the company’s website job description says:

“You’ll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with diverse groups of people. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must. You’ll also need to understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and service as well as cleanliness.”

“The ability to maintain high energy levels whilst working both efficiently and productively is essential. Finally, your appearance should be smart and clean.”
